    What do authentic pop-
    ulation statistics taken at
the time tell us about the
    world’s Jewish population prior
to and after WWII? According to
    The World Almanac, the global
    Jewish population stood at
    15,753,633 persons in 1936.1 Before
the following onset of World War
II, this total fell by 5,542 individuals
to 15,748,091, as part of a declining
    birthrate documented over pre-
    vious decades.2 Adolf Hitler is
    said to have thereafter ordered
the execution of 6 million Jews.
    That would have dropped their
    numbers down to 9,748,091.
    The World Almanac, however,
    recorded 15,688,259 living Jews
after the close of hostilities, for
    a decrease of 59,832 individuals
    from prewar numerical levels.3
    This figure was partially absorbed
    by age-related and other natural
    causes, combined with the de-
clining birth rate, as noted above.
    Together, they reduce 59,832 fa-
    talities by 16,626 persons.
    Amid the developing chaos of
    immense military operations,
    especially from 1941 onward, lack
    of food, medical supplies and
care in the face of widespread
    starvation and disease, abetted
    by the indiscriminate carpet-
    bombing of urban centers, largely
accounted for the .—a far cry from the roughly
    49,957,000 Gentiles killed in that
    conflict. ❖

    What the World Rejected:
    Hitler’s Peace Offers 1933–1940
    BANNED BOOK!

    By Friedrich Stieve.

Written by Germany’s foremost diplomatic his-
torian of the early 20th century, this
work maps out all the numerous times
    that Adolf Hitler made unconditional
offers of peace to all the nations of Eu-
    rope—and how the major anti-German
    belligerents, France and Britain, turned
down these offers each and every time.
The author lists all of Hitler’s offers in
    detail, complete with quotes, starting
with his first offer of May 1933, his second offer of December
1933, his third offer of May 1935, his fourth offer of March
1936, his fifth offer of September 1938, his sixth offer of De-
cember 1938, his seventh offer of late 1939 to Poland to settle
the Danzig Corridor issue peacefully, and, finally, his offer of
world peace of October 6, 1939, just a month after Britain and
France had declared war on Germany. This edition benefits from
four new sections which did not appear in the original publica-
tion. These are: The full text of Hitler’s “Appeal for Peace and
Sanity” speech, made before the Reichstag on July 19, 1940,
following the fall of France; Hitler’s Political Testament, dic-
tated just hours before his death in April 1945; Hermann Gör-
ing’s final letter—from this death cell in Nuremberg—to
Churchill, in which he blamed the latter’s warmongering on be-
half of “Jewish Bolsheviks” for the war; An extract from “The
Forrestal Diaries,” in which U.S. Secretary of the Navy James
Forrestal quotes British PM Neville Chamberlain as complain-
ing that “the world Jews” had forced England into the war.
Fully reset and illustrated throughout with 22 rare photographs
and reproductions of original documents. Softcover, 92 pages,
    #693, $10.
